ER9 represents three separate school districts. Easton (E) and Redding (R) are each Pre-K to Grade 8 school districts. They share a high school, Joel Barlow High School, which is its own separate school district (Region 9 - the “9” in ER9). Each of the three districts has its own Board of Education and is led by our Superintendent (Dr. Jason McKinnon) and a dedicated leadership team.
We have five incredible schools and serve N=2,516 students.

Current Enrollment
Enrollment is trending up in Easton and Redding and is predicted to climb through 2030. Student enrollment is predicted to trend down at Joel Barlow High School until 2025 and then rebound to current levels by the close of the decade.
